Benjamin F. Hoeft and Jill Malcom
Inducted to Jeffco Business Network

The Jeffco Business Network is a philanthropic organization whose primary purpose is to increase business for each of its members using word-of-mouth referrals and networking techniques.  Each member is the exclusive member for their specific industry, reports Ryan Guffey, the group’s President. “We believe that a more profitable business is better equipped to serve the community. As conscientious members of society, we require our members to perform community service hours and to promote ways of increasing our collective ability to enrich our community” said Guffey.

The new additions to the group represent the Financial Advisor and Non-profit sectors.   Benjamin F. Hoeft is a Wealth Advisor at Fortune Investment Services located at 3530 Jeffco Boulevard in Arnold.  Jill Malcom is the Executive Director for the Mastodon Art/Science Regional Fair.

When asked why they joined the group, Hoeft said, “I joined the group for a couple of reasons with the number one reason being  that the organization strives on doing philanthropic activities and at the same time creates an atmosphere that breeds referrals.”

Malcom stated that she believed that a networking group with a philanthropy focus and service hour requirements attracted members who were giving by nature.  “JBN members are here to help each other and the community. You learn about the person by doing philanthropy projects together and learn about their business during the meeting. It is natural to refer people to them because you develop a bond of trust.”

The weekly meetings are open to new visitors and are held every Thursday morning at 8:10 am at the Arnold Ponderosa on Jeffco Blvd and Richardson Road.   A free continental breakfast is served.

More than $250,000 in actual revenue was earned last year from member referrals that turned into paying customers.
